Soup Stops:

Soup Stops:

Food, beverages, help along the way! Skiers are greeted by helpful volunteers who provide water, sport drinks, blueberry soup and food at the many soup stops throughout the race. Skiers will also find a helping hand here to replace a broken pole or to get a ride back to Mora.

Transportation:

Transportation:

Free bus service to the starting area is provided by the Vasaloppet. After arriving in Mora and picking up their race packets, skiers can board buses and head to the start of race where warming fires await them.

Skier's Lunch:

After the race, skiers may pick up their clothing bag near the finish line and head to the Mora High School for a free skier's lunch and the Awards Ceremony.

Volunteers:

Volunteers are the backbone of the Vasaloppet which relies on over 700 community-minded citizens each year to hold the race. From the landowners who allow the entire trail system to cross their land, to volunteers who groom the over 100 kilometers of trail, to soup stop workers, road crossing crews, and finish line workers, every aspect of the Vasaloppet is dependent on volunteer help.
