Beaver Dam Classic 2008

5 and 11 Kilometer Classical Stride Cross Country Ski Race/Tour

Sunday - February 24, 2008-1:00pm

Vasaloppet Ski Area - 15 Miles North of Mora, MN

Sponsored by Mora Ski Club - Open to the Public

Events:

                        5-Kilometer event for ages 13 and under

                        11- Kilometer event for ages 14 and over

                        Both Events for Classic Stride only

Race/Tour Course:

Both events start and finish near the Mora Ski Club Lodge on Country Road 80 (see map on other side).  Terrain is flat to gently rolling, through open woods and swamp.

Entry Fee:

Registration is $5.00 for all ages and races - FREE for Club Members - registration is only on race day until 12:45 p.m.

Entries in the 11 K limited to 100 skiers.  Beaver Dam Classic Registration form!

Awards:

Prizes awarded to overall male and female winners in the 5K and 11K events.  Prizes also awarded to male and female winners within the following age groups (5K) 5-9,10-13; (11K) 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.  (Skiers age 14 and over may ski the 5K event. However, awards will be given only to ages 13 and under. Parents are encouraged to ski with their children.) 

Make Checks Payable to: Mora Ski Club.  Print and bring this registration form to the Ski Club Lodge, Sunday, February 24, 2008.  You must sign waiver, and bring the entry fee, and use separate entry form for each person entered (photocopies accepted).  Thank you,  See you on the trail!

Directions from Mora:

North on Hwy 65 - 12 miles to Country Road 25

West on Country Road 25 - 2 1/2 miles to Country Road 80

North on Country Road 80 - 2 1/4 miles to parking lot on West side of Road

The Lodge is located North of Parking lot, where the road curves East.
